Julie and I had a great conversation about all the ways perfectionism holds us back, and how to get unstuck using my tools of UNperfectionism.

"I Want to Be Seen as Somebody Who Makes a Difference"
Featuring Liz (Wyman) Medford
June 22, 2020

"To be courageous, we must be willing to surrender our perfectionism, if only for a moment.  If my self-worth is attached to being flawless why would I ever try to learn anything new?  After all, learning requires mistakes." ~ Vironika Tugaleva

We all admit to imperfection, we recognize it as an indivisible part of being human.  But when faced with specific imperfections, or when our striving for excellence escorts us over the line into perfectionism we often find ourselves feeling unsettled.  What some see as an admirable attribute, that of reaching beyond excellence is in fact paralyzing to many.

Listen to Liz (Wyman) Medford share her experience of falling into a 'dark place' and how she traded in fear for love.
